How to use this calculator
The Master Roofer here—follow these steps to get a solid estimate:
- Enter your roof square footage (use our Square Footage Calculator if you don't have it).
- Choose shingle type: 3-tab, architectural, or premium.
- Set waste % (10–15% for simple roofs, 15–20% for complex).
- Click Calculate to see bundles and total shingles needed.
Order 1–2 extra bundles for repairs and future use.
